Dr. Peetamber Dahal is VCN’s Food and Nutrition Security Advisor since 2018. He studied and did research at University of California, Davis, USA during 1987-2015. He has been doing research on international food, nutrition and health security issues, notably the Dry Chain; a concept necessary for dry food disaster preparedness. Individual countries could enable quality food stocks for other disasters like drought and minimize food import. His role with VCN is to support and guide on the issues of food security & camp; nutrition during program development and implementation on disaster projects.
